This Saturday, January 28, marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year. Based off of the lunar calendar, Chinese New Year is one of the largest global events of the year as roughly a sixth of the world is expected to observe the holiday with large celebrations happening in Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia. Although Colorado may not be the first region that comes to mind, we have our own lineup of celebrations to welcome the coming of the new year.
